Our mission is to guide individuals in discovering their authentic selves as well as creating an encouraging environment. We foster unity and a desire for all students to feel part of something greater than themselves, whilst building a professional dancer and unlocking the untapped potential they possess.
We offer many different genres of dance for all age groups. Our teachers are distinguished professional dancers who have trained for many years in their craft. Being performers themselves they know how to train and mould the younger generation and draw out the best in anyone attending their classes.
So whether you are a curious toddler taking your first steps or a passionate adult seeking to embrace the art of dance, Leon is the ultimate destination. We offer a safe, nurturing, fun environment for kids who have a desire to dance. We have classes suited to children age 4-6years catering to social interaction, creative expression, coordination and of course it is super fun. We offer ballet, jazz and hip hop.
Hip hop and jazz will be offered together within a 1 hr class. Ballet will be a seperate class offered for 45mins.
New students can join at anytime, we love meeting new people and invite them to join the family here at Leon.

Classes range from beginner to Advanced and are children are placed according to age and ability. We run classes for 7-16 year olds.
Classes will be designed to help kids fall in love with dance and know that they are talented, creative and wonderful and at the same time be challenged to be the best they can be. We are here to help kids feel safe to be themselves and find friendships that will last a lifetime.
We run classes on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays and offer ballet (rad syllabus), jazz, hip hop/street and contemporary/lyrical.

We offer casual classes on Thursday and Friday nights in our Southbank location. We have a great faculty of professional dance teachers who are seasoned in there field.
Casual classes range in levels and we offer:
Ballet
Jazz
Commercial
Hip hop
Street
Afro
Specialist teacher
Levels are:
Beginner - never danced before or have done basic classes and wanting to develop your coordination and stamina.
Intermediate - people who have danced for a few years, know there ability and are desiring to strengthen there skill set.
Advanced - you are an advanced/professional dancer. Looking to be grow even further in your craft.
Come along and do 1 - 3 classes per night. You can sign up for a term class pass or pay on a casual basis. Please see the schedule and price list for more details. Look forward to seeing you there.

As we are a new establishment this will be our first intake for full time performing arts students for a 1 year course. It is an incredible opportunity to be part of pioneering the way and establishing a new path for dance in Melbourne and Australia.
Many avenues will open up for our full time students including filming, touring, shows and more. There will be annual showcases/performances, to be part of and an opportunity to join the Leon Dance company on completion of your course.
You will be trained to not only dance but choreograph and direct. Your day will comprise of classes in Ballet, jazz, technique, hip hop, street, tap, contemporary, lyrical, strength training, pilates as well as learning the art of film, choreography, business and theory. Our full time course is something dancers dream of as your environment will be nurturing, encouraging, fun fun fun, full of hope and a place to dream. Every week will cover all classes:
Ballet (rad syllabus), Hip hop, Street, Commercial, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Musical Theatre, Pilates, Strength, Choreography
